Our 2025/2026 Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced from mature trees, some over 200 years old; a high quality first cold pressed product obtained exclusively through a mechanical process from our native Tuscan olive trees of the ‘Frantoio’ variety. Bottled in dark glass with a zip-locked top for security and regulated dispenser that prevents spilling, the 0,5 litre curved shoulder bottle with attractive labelling provides details of it’s provenance. Extracted by Frantoio Tistarelli, in the province of Sienna, a well respected family owned business, who are known for their investment in state of the art German olive oil extraction technology.

Further Information

The 2025/ 2026 olive harvest campaign was a low yield year throughout Tuscany but the quality of the oil is very high. It has a peppery and slightly bitter initial taste, indicating its high level of polyphenol content, with their associated health benefits and then develops a fruity notes, leaving the mouth clean without an aftertaste. Made exclusively from our olives, harvested at La Casa Cappellina in October 2025. It is best consumed before October 2027. Ideal for finishing dishes and using in ‘raw’ state as a dressing or in pestos and sauces.
